Why? Because older routers may not be able to handle the demands of today\u2019s internet usage. They can bottleneck your connections and ultimately slow down your Wi-Fi experience. We recommend upgrading your router every 5 years for faster connectivity. The placement of your router can have a significant impact on your home network\u2019s performance. Try placing your router in a central location, away from walls and other obstructions that could interfere with the Wi-Fi signal. And definitely do not place it in an enclosed space. It\u2019s also worth considering if your router is near an appliance that potentially emits electromagnetic interference.
